SUMMARY:

In this work, the Active Methodology of Inverted Classes was used in the teaching of Fluid Mechanics during the second semester of 2021 during Emergency Remote Teaching (ERE) due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. 75 students participated in the classes of the 1st grade of high school integrated to the Agricultural Technician course at the Agropecuária School of the Federal University of Roraima (EAgro – UFRR). The proposal focus on using Information Technologies (ICTs) during the planning of teach, main due to the teach is not presential For the organization of the discipline, Moodle was adopted as a free and easy-to-use Virtual Learning Environment. The Learning Theory chosen was Carl Rogers' Humanist, as it clearly emphasizes the need to center learning on the student, and the teacher has the role of mediator (facilitator of learning). In this way, the Active Methodologies, especially the SAI, can be based on the Humanist Theory. As for the evaluative activities, scripts (guides) applied in the execution of Physics simulations of Phet Simulations/Colorado were used; in addition, each student produced an investigative activity video (experience). These activities were designed so that the student had a significant learning experience, even in the ERE condition, the positive impact achieved was achieved, as the constant participation of students during the activities was visible. In the beginning, the students thought that in the synchronous classes the theoretical content would be properly developed; little by little, they began to realize that prior contact with the subject was necessary, and that in classes with the teacher, information was maximized and deepened, either through group discussions and/or evaluative activities. However, the inversion of teaching was not successful in the ERE at EAgro, as the students did not have the discipline and interest in acquiring knowledge individually in advance. In addition, students expressed that it was always better for classes to be synchronous, as there was a lot of distraction with other daily tasks while at home.
